2024 Supplier Responsibility

This Conflict Minerals Report for the year ended December 31, 2023 is presented to comply with Rule 13p-1 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, which requires certain reporting and disclosure related to conflict minerals.

We obtain third-party assurance from an independent, accredited auditor for specific environmental data as part of our Independent Accountants’ Review, including select GHG emissions, energy, and water metrics.

Google’s 2024 Environmental Report provides an overview of our environmental sustainability strategy, including our targets and annual progress towards them. This report features information from our 2023 fiscal year (January 1 to December 31, 2023). It also mentions some notable achievements from the first half of 2024.

2024 Circular Economy

The Plastic-Free Packaging Design Guide includes insights from Google’s design, engineering, and operations efforts to create plastic-free packaging that is more easily recycled. The guide is intended to be a resource enabling professionals at companies with sustainability aspirations to use what we’ve learned on our packaging journey so far and promote industry collaboration and innovation.

Google and its subsidiaries and controlled entities are committed to treating all workers with respect and dignity, ensuring safe working conditions, and operating ethically. We issued this statement pursuant to the UK Modern Slavery Act, Australia Modern Slavery Act, California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act, and the Swiss Ordinance on Due Diligence and Transparency in relation to Minerals and Metals from Conflict-Affected Areas and Child Labour, which require Google and certain of its subsidiaries to disclose efforts to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place in our supply chains and business operations. This is our eighth statement, covering our 2023 financial year (January 1 to December 31, 2023).
